Shaq rumored to settle in another North Texas city

ROCKWALL COUNTY (KDAF) — Shaquille O’Neal might have never suited up for the Dallas Mavericks, but he’s got a very soft spot for North Texas. The retired NBA superstar and TNT “Inside the NBA” analyst already scored a home in Carrollton back in 2022. Now, the buzz is he’s added another sanctuary to his Lone Star State collection!

According to county property records, the same trust that scooped up Shaq’s Carrollton pad recently nabbed a sprawling 4,670-square-foot Mediterranean-style home in Heath’s Ridge Lakes development in April, right on the east side of Lake Ray Hubbard. While the sale price remains a mystery, the home’s appraised value hovers around a cool $1.7 million, per the Rockwall Central Appraisal District.

So, is Shaq moving in? Possibly! Shaq was spotted  in Rockwall County last week, casually shopping at Walmart and Home Depot. Ever the friendly giant, Shaq was more than happy to chat and snap selfies with fans.

Could it be that Shaq is trading Carrollton for Rockwall County, or is he just expanding his Texan empire? With his Carrollton home still under his trust’s name, it’s anyone’s guess. All we know is to keep your eyes peeled, North Texas—you never know where you might bump into the legendary Shaquille O’Neal next!
