DALLAS (KDAF) — Yeehaw, or maybe not? Post Malone, the Grapevine native who traded his rap career for country twang, has announced his first country-focused tour, the F-1 Trillion Tour. But guess what? The Lone Star State is conspicuously missing from the lineup.

Yes, you read that right. Our very own Posty, the guy who proudly flaunts his Texas roots and partnered with the Dallas Cowboys to open a themed Raising Cane’s store in DFW, will hit 20 cities in support of his latest album without gracing his home turf. Fans are not amused. Under his Instagram tour announcement, user miacsalinas summed up the collective disbelief with a distressed “THERES NO WAY YOU SKIPPED TEXAS,” because, naturally, uppercase letters are the universal sign of internet frustration.

Several fans couldn’t help but point out the irony of a country tour that bypasses Texas, a place where country music runs deep. However, Texas isn’t the only notable absence. Other major destinations like Florida, California, and Chicago did not make the cut. This has led to speculation that more dates could be on the way, prompting several fans to visit Post Malone’s official website that allows users to sign up for notifications to be the first to know “when new events are announced in your area.”

So, as Texans vent their disappointment online, there’s still a flicker of hope. Perhaps Post Malone has a trick up his sleeve, and soon we’ll see some Texas dates added to the F-1 Trillion Tour. Until then, we’ll be here, waiting for Posty to bring his country charm back home.
